Library

In 2011, I began creating and conducting programming for the Library. Events have been designed to serve all ages within our communities. From storytimes to LARPing to bookclubs, I’ve tried it all! Most of my events surround creating, but I am truly enthusiastic about STEM. Below are some of my favorite events and community collaborations. Enjoy!

Events

Daniel Tiger Day

Who doesn’t love Daniel Tiger? I created this event to encourage little ones and their family members to experience one-of-a-kind hands on stations themed to the town of Daniel Tiger.

CreATE

This event was inspired for Teens, as a new approach to encourage them to be Future Ready. Teens were able to discover innovative Art, Technology, and Engineering skills through hands on creative projects.

MakerSpace & Take

I developed this event for adults to learn new skills using the Library’s Makerspace. This was a hands on approach to learn the software and equipment as well as creating a finished product.

Paint or Play

I organized this event to encourage fantasy mini connoisseurs to paint a 3D printed game miniature or they could play a one-shot D&D adventure.

Community

Quilt’s for a Cause

I lead this event during COVID. We put a call out to everyone in the Greater Cincinnati area to join together (while apart) in Quilts for a Cause, a special project to represent how as a community we can weather any crisis that comes our way. Then the created quilts were auctioned to support the Library.

Farmers Market

I organized a booth to promote our Summer Reading program, regular events, and brought along a DIY bookmark craft for families to enjoy. Swag bags were prepared with buttons, promotional materials, and more of our favorite Library branded items.

Christmas in Loveland

I created this event to connect our services to the community by offering a MakerSpace & Take: DIY Paper Ornaments and Gift Tags held at Mile 42 Coffee.

Hearts Afire

I developed events for all ages including a DIY heart themed wine bag. Hearts Afire Weekend is a 3-day celebration throughout the City of Loveland in honor of Valentine’s Day. Businesses participate with weekend specials and love-inspired activities!
